Age is catching up soon, so I decided to spend more time with the Nikon1 setup for bird photography. Last weekend, I was at the paddy field, but the weather was terribly hot and the place was completely dry. Nothing much exciting going on, so I only focus on the Cattle Egret although there were several other birds around such as Zitting Cisticola, Eurasian Tree Sparrow, Scaly-breasted Munia, White-breasted Waterhen, Black-shouldered Kite, Chinese Pond Heron, Purple Heron, White-throated Kingfisher, Blue-tailed Bee-eater and the migratory Siberian Stonechat. I had the Nikon V1 and the Nikon AF-S 70-200mm f2.8 VR1 handheld at the field today.
